Covid -19 and safe Photography Sessions.

Following on from my last blog advising you on how to do your own newborn photoshoot at home https://www.piccypicphotography.co.uk/post/newborn-home-shoot-during-covid-19-lockdown

As things start to be on the move with more relaxation on current regulations with regards to the 'you know what' I have prepared a couple of safety guidelines for indoor and outdoor photography sessions firstly the OUTDOOR SAFETY GUIDELINES as this is what is currently allowed, and also the INDOOR SAFETY GUIDELINES in readiness for when this is allowed.

Current guidelines suggest June 15th for indoor sitter, portrait and cake smash sessions. Unfortunately indoor newborn sessions are still restricted because of the close contact of handling your new baby.

Newborn sessions are currently carried out at a safe distance in your own garden. These sessions take on a more lifestyle session where parents and siblings are involved to create beautiful memories. This may not sound ideal or something you've given thought to, but instead of having to go without having these precious first weeks beautifully captured many of my new parents are loving the outdoor newborn photo sessions. Always safety and distancing in mind I use a long lens to capture the memories . I even bring my trusted well behaved teddy to show you how to wrap baby yourself and then how to place baby for a few simply posed shots.

What isn't on these guidelines is that I also take my temperature every day...I'm currently standing at 36.7.... cool character eh!
